Thank you for visiting my website. I appreciate that choosing a photographer is an important decision, and you likely have questions. I’m here to help. Below, I’ve addressed some common queries to give you a sense of my approach and what to expect. Please feel free to reach out if you need any further information.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes indeed. I require 50% of the deposit to guarantee that your booked time is reserved and that my time and expenses are covered. I take online bank transfers or cash. You can also use Revolut or PayPal transfers. On the day of delivery, I will ask you to pay me the remaining 50%.

Where are you based?

I’m based in the lovely town of Crawley, West Sussex. However, don’t fret if you’re not in the immediate area! I’m more than happy to travel up to 50 miles from Crawley for bookings. This means I can cover a good chunk of the South East, including parts of London, Surrey, Kent, and East Sussex. So whether you’re planning a seaside wedding in Brighton or a family photoshoot in the Surrey Hills, just give me a shout, and we can discuss the details.

What should I expect during a session?

Expect a relaxed and enjoyable experience where I’m all about making you feel comfortable and capturing genuine moments. We’ll start with a friendly chat to help you settle in and go over any last-minute ideas before I guide you through natural poses and interactions, nothing too stiff or formal. Feel free to be yourself, as I love capturing authentic expressions and spontaneous moments. We’ll take breaks as needed. I’m always happy to accommodate special requests or try out your creative ideas. Throughout the session, I’ll be snapping away, often when you least expect it – that’s where the magic happens! Remember, there’s no need to be a model or to know how to pose; my job is to make you look brilliant whilst ensuring you have a grand time, so just come as you are, and let’s create some cracking photos together!

Something unexpected occurred... Can I change the day/time of the photoshoot without losing my deposit?

You certainly can! I aim to be flexible and am always willing to help. I understand that unforeseen events can occur. However, please ensure that any changes are requested at least 72 hours before the event or photoshoot. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate changes made the night before or on the day of the photoshoot, as it would leave me unable to secure alternative work to cover lost time.

How do you deliver your photographs?

I deliver professionally edited photographs via a Google Drive link for most photoshoots. This link can be opened, viewed, and downloaded on any digital device with internet connectivity. The link will remain active for at least a month. Additionally, I keep backup copies on my hard drive for an average of four to six months. For an additional charge, I also provide printouts, albums, and physical drives (beautiful pen drives in the form of keys with a heart) upon request. Please refer to the pricing for details.

When will I receive the photographs?

On average, it takes me 2–4 working days to edit your photographs. Some photoshoots, such as weddings, may require more time, as processing an entire event can take over a week. In contrast, corporate headshots can be edited within 1–2 working days, and event or celebration photos within 2–3 working days. If there are any delays, I will inform you promptly. Alternatively, if urgency is critical, I can deliver initial samples or a portion of the photographs sooner, with the remaining images to follow.

Can you make me look younger/slimmer/more muscular or enhance certain features?

All of my photographs are professionally edited and enhanced. I place extra focus on headshots and portraits to ensure you appear younger and smoother. There’s no need to worry about looking perfect on the day of the photoshoot. As standard, I smooth skin, subtly enhance lips, whiten teeth and eyes, cover scars, bald spots, or blemishes, and enhance eye details. My aim is to make you look like a refreshed version of yourself without over-editing, so you don’t appear unnatural or “doll-like.” More advanced editing is available upon request but must be discussed beforehand, as it is not a standard service and may incur additional costs due to the complexity involved.

Do you have a studio?

I don’t currently own a studio, but I can transform any space into a home studio. I have a professional set of wireless lighting, triggers, softboxes, backdrops, and other studio equipment. For example, I often use hotel rooms for boudoir shoots, office spaces for headshots, or home settings for pet or child portraits. If you prefer, I we hire a professional studio also; however, this would incur additional costs. For more information, please contact me.

Can I bring a friend, family member, partner, or pet to my photoshoot?

Yes*—if your dog is well-behaved, we can even include it in the session! Friends, family members, or partners are welcome, as long as they do not disturb or interfere with the creative process. If you intend to bring someone, please inform me in advance.

Can you do it cheaper? I know someone who does.

There will always be someone offering cheaper services. However, they may risk ruining moments that cannot be recreated. Many amateurs or students with DSLRs overestimate their abilities to produce professional-quality photographs. I pride myself on offering very competitive rates given the quality of my services. If you have a tight budget, feel free to contact me. We can discuss ways to adjust the shoot’s scope, such as the number of photographs or the duration, to find a suitable solution.

I need something that is not listed in your portfolio. Can you do that?

I’m a passionate photographer who loves taking on new challenges. Only a small selection of my work is displayed on my website and social media.
